The Bauchi State Commissioner of Finance Alhaji Nuru MAnu Soro who resigned yesterday has remained silent over the reasons for his action, less than two months after his appointment.
Nuru Manu Soro resigned from the cabinent of Governor Bala Muhammed minutes after 11:00am yestarday, via a facebook page posting which was widely circulated and reported by the mainstream and social media.
in the Facebook posting, Soro promised to make his reason known to the public- an action he is yet to fulfill.
This has given room for a lot of speculations about the reason behind Soro’s action, with people interpreting his actions in different ways.
Soro’s resignation preceded a statement by the state commissioner of information announcing a mini cabinet reshuffle, in which Soro was moved to the ministry of Youth and Sports from Finance.
The state government on its part, is also yet to make a comment on Soro’s action.
