An unknown Hausa singer has eulogised notorious bandit kingpin, Dogo Gide, in a new song trending in some parts of Zamfara.
The singer praised the terrorist as a peace lover and icon of hope for the Fulanis.
In the nine-minute song, the singer backed by a female chorus artist, described Dogo Gide as someone fighting for the common man and the messiah for the marginalised groups
He said the kingpin has minimised injustice in communities he controlled.
This is despite numerous atrocities committed by the kingpin.
“Our communities are proud of you commander, your mission is to see for peaceful coexistence at all times, May God continue to protect you and may you triumph among your enemies,” the singer prayed.

“Dogo Gide is a kindhearted person for the less privileged. Wicked persons never want to see you close to him, as soon as Dogo comes in, we see them all surrendered, we understand that among the Fulanis there is none like Dogo Gide,” continued the singer.
He said they will never forget the legacies left by the kingpin upon his arrival to their community.
The terror kingpin, as claimed by the singer, has put an end to the oppression suffered by the masses, adding that villagers in Tsafe, Danjibga, Kucheri, and others have found solace in him.
“Commander, you have laid down a path of justice and equity for us, you have warned the masses and the people to stop killing each other, Dogo Gide you don’t entertain injustice, we are praying for you”, reads one of the stanzas of the song.
