A 10-year-old bandits’ informant in Zamfara (anme withheld) revealed how he gunned down three men for N10,000 reward.
In a video clip shared on Twitter by Abdul Balarabe, a Zamfara-based journalist, the boy confessed that the bandits rewarded after he shot the men on their chests.

“They used to send me to town to spy on wealthy individuals and other movements which I reported to them whom they kidnapped,” he confessed. “They are the ones who taught me how to use a gun. They asked me to shoot three people which I did on their chests and they all died. They also used to give me a reward of N5,000 to N10,000 for what I was doing for them.”
The young boy who hails from Garin Bakwai, a village in Zamfara, explained that his father had tried to separate him from the marauders, but he proved adamant.

When contacted, the Zamfara State Police Public Relations Officers (PPRO), Mohammed Shehu told WikiiTimes he had not come across the video.
This comes two days after bandits in another video displayed two young girls with guns hung on their necks. Therein, the dandits threatened to recruit them.
