100 days: Bauchi Governor says his commissioners will have performance indicators

Bauchi state governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has held his first media chat marking the first 100 days in office.

The Governor vowed that his commissioners will have key performance indicators, in addition to signing contract with him.

The initiative, according to the governor was to check on indolence, non-performance and corruption.

Governor Bala who regretted that the condition of the state was terrible, says his administration could not afford not to work for the state to address the seeming challenges affecting different sectors of the economy.

The governor says one of his commissioners, Dr. Aminu Gamawa was developing an application that would support the state government check and track fraud and work progress.

Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed also says the state government was putting more effort to pay the over N27 billion gratuity owed to civil servants and pensioners in the state.

He said his administration will liaise with the Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Federation to recover all the looted funds belonging to the state government.
