Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed, a son of Bauchi State Governor has said that the people of northern Nigeria will massively vote for Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso in the 2023 presidential elections if both PDP and APC zoned their presidential tickets to the south, WikkiTimes can report.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed had purchased the 2023 PDP presidential expression of interest and nomination forms.
Shamsudeen said this in a post on his Facebook page.
He said the northern part of the country will not vote along party lines in 2023, hence, it will only vote for a candidate that is most qualified to lead the country.
“If both PDP and APC make the mistake of zoning these elections to the south, the north will vote for Kwankwaso en masse and that’s the truth of the matter,” he said.
WikkiTimes recalls that Kwankwaso, who is the leader of the Kwankwasiya political movement has prior to his exit from the PDP a couple of weeks ago, launched The National Movement.
Kwankwaso later joined his political aides and associates and defected New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP.
