Irate youths in Yelwa, a suburb of Bauchi metropolis, have beaten one Ambima John to death for an alleged attempt to snatch a motorcycle from an Okada man in the area.
WikkiTimes learned that John gained notoriety for snatching motorcycles in the area but met his waterloo when youths in Yelwa pinned him at a corner attempting to snatch a motorcycle.
Confirming the incident to reporters in Bauchi on Friday, Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil said John was certified dead after being rushed to the Abubakar Tafawabalewa University Teaching Hospital.

H sad residents of Yelwa have been watching the victim with suspicious eyes for quite a long time.
“On 27/07/2022 at about 2100hrs intel was received from an anonymous person that one Ambima John ‘m’ aged 22yrs of Doka, a notorious motorcycle snatcher kingpin was beaten up to coma by an irate mob for attempting to rob a motorcycle.
“The scene was visited by patrol team Yelwa and evacuated the victim to ATBU Teaching Hospital Bauchi for treatment, later certified him dead by a medical Doctor,” he said.
