25-Year-Old Pregnant Woman Abducted In Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Rahila Da’u, a 25-year-old pregnant woman, in the Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State by unknown gunmen.

The hold-to-ransom of the 25-year-old pregnant woman is coming days after gunmen invaded the family residence of a former to times governor of Bauchi State Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu killing his nephew and carry-off three of his family members in Boto, Tafawa Balewa local government. 

Police Public Relations Officer, Bauchi State Command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil said Rahila’s abductors in their numbers stormed the family residence of their victim in Lusa shooting recklessly with AK47 rifles.

He said the gunmen injured Rahila’s 70-year-old father, Alhaji Da’u Bello. They broke his left leg before they zoomed away with his daughter.

WikkiTimes gathered that the gun contacted the family of their victim to negotiate a ransom for her release. This development left the family bewildered using that the breadwinner of the family, Alhaji Da’u on admission for orthopaedic surgery in Kano.
