Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has condoled with a former governor of the state, Ahmed Adamu Mu’azu over the killing of his nephew, Mu’azu Danladi and the abduction of three of his family members by unknown gunmen in Boto, Tafawa Balewa local government of the state.
Five days ago, unknown gunmen gunned down Danladi in Boto, their countryside, after suspecting that the children or grandchildren of the former governor might be on Sallah vocation to the community.
The governor who expressed shock over the dastard act said his administration has an unwavering commitment to fish out criminals from the state.

He said Bauchi has been working round the clock with security agencies to ensure citizens of the state sleep with both eyes closed.
The governor said in partnership with relevant security outfits in the state, the perpetrators of the act will be brought to book to deter others.
Responding, Ahmed Mu’azu who doubled as a two times Bauchi Governor and a former PDP National Chairman, appreciated Bala Mohammed for the show of love and concern.
He called on relevant stakeholders to support the administration of Bala Mohammed to enable him to deliver more developmental projects to the people of Bauchi State.
