Abducted Daughter Of Adamawa Pastor Regains Freedom

The abducted 13-year-old daughter of Pastor Daniel Umaru of EYN Church, Mubi loca council of Adamawa State, has been set freed by her captors.

WikkiTimes reported how the freed victim was abducted in her deather’s residence when gunmen killed her two male brothers in the wee hours of Wednesday.

The attackers opened fire on the reverend while his wife slipped into coma.

While burying her two siblings, Xeiry Daniel, 19 and Fanye Daniel, 23 on Saturday, the deceased mother said their blood would rescue thier sister.

The children were laid to rest at the church’s cemetery in Kwarhi, near Mubi.

A family source said the abducted daughter of pastor had regained freedom by her captors after getting a huge ransom.

The source said, “We paid huge money before she could be released to us on Saturday evening. After her two brothers were buried at EYN church premises in Karachi

“Also, her father is undergoing medical treatment at Modibbo Adama University of Teaching Hospital, Yola, due to gunshot injury and trauma.”

The Police Public Relations Officer in Adamawa State, Sulaiman Nguroje, confirmed that the teenager had returned home.

He said the police team had also launched a manhunt for the attackers and the command would not relent until the culprits were brought to book.
