Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved the implementation of the N70,000 minimum wage for workers in the state, effective from August.
In a statement posted on his Twitter handle today, Governor Fintiri said, “As a demonstration of our commitment to the welfare of workers in Adamawa State, I have approved the payment of a N70,000 minimum wage starting this August.”
The governor explained that civil servants in the state “deserve this increase and more”, pledging continued collaborative efforts to build a prosperous future for all.
