Adamawa Orphans, Widows Get Succour

Hudaibiya Foundation, a non Government organisation, has in collaboration with Qatar Charity distributed startup kits to orphans and widows in Yola North and Yola South local government areas of Adamawa state.

Engr Usman Muhammad, President of Hudaibiyya Foundation, said the beneficiaries are drawn from the local governments as a start of the programme, adding that orphans and widows in the other local governments of the state will be captured in due time.

“With the collaboration with Qatar charity, we are teaching the orphans and widow in the foundation a hand skill to help them start a business and have something doing,” he said.

Hamid Elsayed, Director of Qatar Charity, called on the beneficiaries to teach others what they learned from the training to make more impact.

“Teach others what you learned and Insha Allah we will come back and give them the same startup kits to be self-reliant,” he assured.

WikkiTimes gathered that items distributed include 100 sewing machines, 60 mini grinding machines, 10 carpentry tools kits and 6 plumbing tools kit
