After APC Presidential Primaries, Two Rivers’ Delegates Die In Auto Crash

Onimiteim Vincent and Barrister Prince Loveday Motats, APC delegates from Rivers State who participated at the just concluded presidential primaries of the party in Abuja have died in a fatal auto crash.

WikkiTimes gathered that the delegates died while on their home on Wednesday.

The Sienna they were traveling in reportedly collided with another vehicle.

One of the victims was said to have died on the spot while the other was taken to an unknown hospital where he died.

APC governorship flagbearer in Rivers State, Pastor Tonye Cole, confirmed the tragic incident.

He said the deceased were loyal servants of the APC in Rivers, adding that he had developed a bond and friendship with them.

“We lost these gems in an accident heading back from the presidential primaries, in yet another painful sacrifice for a democratic nation. My heart and prayers are with their families and loved ones at this difficult time.

“While we mourn, we must not despair, instead we will celebrate the lives of these fallen patriots, and carry on their legacies of loyalty, diligence and honor. They have not fallen in vain and the impact they made serving this Nation through APC in Rivers State will not be forgotten,” Cole stated.

Rotimi Amaechi, a former Transportation Minister, who is the presidential aspirant from the state, came second in the primary election which was won by Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State.
