After ASUU Strike, ATBU Resumes Lectures November

Barely two weeks after the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) suspended its eight-month-old strike, the Senate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi has approved November 7th as the date for the continuation of first semester lectures.

The protracted ASUU strike shut down academic activities for the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic session of the university.

Mr Kabiru Garba Aminu, Head of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the university disclosed this in a statement made available to WikkiTimes on Tuesday.

The statement indicates that fresh and returning students of the university with outstanding online registration issues have to complete it before 31st October 2022. He insisted that any student who deliberately failed to update their online registration details after the deadline will be asked to defer the
