After Defeating Bala Mohammed At 2023 PDP Presidential Primaries, Atiku Appoints Him Into Campaign Council

Barely four months after defeating Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed at the 2023 PDP Presidential primaries, Atiku Abubakar a former Vice President, has appointed Mr Mohammed to lead his Campaign Council in the Northern part of the country.

The governor, who reclaimed his governorship reelection ticket after the defeat, will now serve as the Vice Chairman North of the 2023 PDP Presidential Campaign Council.

With this development, the governor concurrently works for the actualization of the presidential ambition of the former Vice President and his second term bid.

Umar Mohammed Bature, PDP National Organising Secretary who released the 326 names of the officials and members of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, names Bala Mohammed as the Vice Chairman North for the council.

Meanwhile, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who withdrew for Atiku at the party’s primaries in May serves as Director-General of the council.
