After Losing to Aston Villa, Chelsea Sack Manager Graham Potter

Chelsea Football Club have sacked their manager, Graham Potter after the team disastrously lost 2-0 at home against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Today’s lost made it eleventh match since Potter took charge of affairs from his predecessor, Thomas Tuchel on September 8, 2022.

The 2021 UEFA Champions League winners who have spent more than £550m on new players, are searching for their third manager of the season.

The Blues are in the bottom half of the Premier League after their latest loss – and 12 points off the top four, according to Best Choice Sports.

Chelsea say Potter “has agreed to collaborate with the club to facilitate a smooth transition” and that Bruno Saltor will take charge of the team as interim head coach in a statement they issued on Sunday night.

“Chelsea FC has announced that Graham Potter has departed the club. Graham has agreed to collaborate with the Club to facilitate a smooth transition.

“In his time with the club, Graham has taken us to the quarter final of the Champions League, where we will face Real Madrid. Chelsea would like to thank Graham for all his efforts and contribution and wish him well for the future.
