Aisha Bala Mohammed, Bauchi State First Lady has settled the medical bill of one Mufeeda Usman, a Bauchi girl suffering from Spinal Cord Injury, SCI to the tune of 1.2 million naira.
Mufeeda is on admission at Apex Clinic Bauchi after she sustained an SCI, a development that condemned her to her bed unable to move and an impaired neurosensory response.
The First Lady said that paying the bills for Mufeeda is part of her gesture to assist the vulnerable people in the society as well as those in critical condition.
Aisha Bala Mohammed, who was represented by the Commissioner of Women Affairs and Child Development Hajara Gidado, prayed for the quick recovery of the patient and promised continued support to the less privileged persons.
Receiving the donation, Hajiya Lami Helma, grandmother of the patient, thanked the First Lady for the kind gesture and promised their total support to Governor Bala Abdulkadir’s led administration at all times.
Also, the First Lady donated cash to all the patients who were admitted to the hospital.
