Akindele Egbuwalo, National Programme Manager of N-Power Renewed Hope Job Creation, formerly N-Power, has warned that the purported opening of the portal for new beneficiaries is fake.
WikkiTimes had reported that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster and Management explained why it temporarily suspended the N-Power, citing irregularities and massive fraud in the system.
In a statement by the communications manager of the National Social Investment Programme, Mr Jamaluddeen Kabir, on Thursday in Abuja, Egbuwalo urged members of the public to disregard the information, saying that it does not originate from the N-Power.
”The public is hereby urged to disregard such information as it does not originate from the N-Power, Renewed Hope Job Creation office. The N-Power, Renewed Hope Job Creation Management unequivocally deny this misleading news which seems designed to deceive the public.
”The Renewed Hope Job Creation will properly inform the public through the official portal of the scheme when enrollment of the new beneficiaries will commence,” he said.
WikkiTimes learnt that there are calls for registration for 2023/2024 with a portal provided for what the officials of the N-Power said is fake.
