Ali Garu Defeats Bauchi Deputy Speaker In PDP Primaries

Alhaji Aminu Ali Garu has defeated the Deputy Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Hon Danlami Ahmed Kawule in the House Of Representatives’ primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The duo contested for the 2023 PDP ticket to represent Bauchi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

WikkiTimes gathered that Ali Garu defeated Mr Kawule by a wide margin in the election conducted through delegates.

Speaking to reporters shortly after the election, Aminu Ali Garu said his victory is a victory for democracy and the good people of Bauchi Federal Constituency.

He commended the delegates who participated in the election for finding him worthy to represent Bauchi Federal Constituency.

He called on other aspirants to join hands with him to win the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

All efforts to get the Deputy Speaker to comment on the matter proved abortive as he declined to speak with the press.

Mr Kawule is a close political ally of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir.
