Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has approved the immediate implementation of N70,000 minimum wage for workers in the state.
Stephen Pam Gadong, the state’s Head of Civil Service who announced this in a statement on Thursday said this decision followed signing of the Agreement of the Committee on Consequential Adjustment on Salaries.
“The Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has approved the immediate implementation of N70,000 minimum wage for workers in the state”, said Pam.
According to him, with the new adjustment on the workers salaries, the state government expect high productivity and dedication among civil servants in the state.
“As the new policy is administered, Civil Servants are encouraged to embrace this gesture by recommitting to their duties with renewed dedication and zeal in order to foster a culture of productivity and excellence in the service of the state”, added Pam.
