Barring any last minute change, the All Progressives Congress (APC) would organise its elective national convention on February 6, 2022.
A top official at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, told our correspondent on Wednesday night that the top echelon of the party was considering February 6, for the convention.
Chairman of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, recently led a delegation of some APC stakeholders to a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, where it was resolved that the party would hold its national convention in February. However, no specific date was announced.
But speaking with our correspondent, a top source in the APC said, “For now, we are considering February 6, for the convention.”
