The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Bauchi State Chapter has called on the people of Bauchi State to be vigilant and not be swayed by the ongoing verbal fracas between the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
PRP, in a statement by its Bauchi State Secretary, Hon. Abdulazeez Haruna, has urged Bauchi State people to be cautious amid the escalating war of words between the leaders of the PDP and APC.
According to the PRP, the PDP and APC politicians are indistinguishable in their tactics, prioritizing personal gain over public service.
The statement claimed that both the PDP and APC have failed the people of Bauchi State over the years of steering affairs of the state.
The party accused the PDP-led state government of entrenching poverty and hardship, while engaging in corrupt practices and wasting public funds on unproductive projects.
The PRP also criticized the APC’s performance at the federal level, accusing it of adopting policies detrimental to the masses and failing to bring meaningful development to the state.
The party noted that many APC leaders in Bauchi were once members of the PDP, suggesting that their political affiliations are driven by self-interest rather than a genuine commitment to the people.
PRP further urged the people of the State to reject these “selfish and self-centred” politicians.
The party called on citizens to see through their “empty promises and false rhetoric” and instead support the PRP, which, the statement described as committed to honesty, integrity, and transparency in governance.
It added that PRP is positioning itself as a genuine alternative to the established parties, promising a government that prioritizes the needs of the people over personal interests.
The party has called on the people of the State to join them in their quest for a brighter future.
Continue your positive efforts; the sky will surely be your only limit.
