The All Progressives Congress (APC) may have adopted Idris Wase (Plateau) as the Deputy Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, it emerged on Saturday, TheNation can report.
The hint was dropped by Abdulmumin Jibrin (Kano), who is the Director General (DG) of the Femi Gbajabiamila campaign council.
Gbajabiamila had been adopted by the party at a presidential dinner last month.
Jibrin, on his twitter account on Saturday, said any member of the APC caucus that fails to heed to party’s choice of Wase ultimately risked being sanctioned.
The tweet reads: “MURUS!!! Mr Speaker and Mr Deputy Speaker 9th Assembly.
If you are an APC member and against the two, you are on collision course with the party. 2015 is NOT 2019 in so many ways
