The Nigerian Army has said that its officers and men have killed scores of ISWAP fighters in Gurzum, Borno State.
The Army disclosed this in a Twitter post on its verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
The Army said that members of Desert Sanity in collaboration with CJTF destroyed camps of the fighters and recovered arms and ammunition.
The post further indicated that the troops recovered the domestic belongings of the terrorists, adding that their market was also destroyed.
