Dr Suleiman Lame, the Rector, Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, ATAP, said on Tuesday that the National Board for Technical Education, NBTE, had accredited 20 courses in the National Diploma, ND, and High National Diploma, HND, in the institution.
Mr Lame, who spoke with newsmen on Tuesday in Bauchi, said that the exercise was conducted across the various departments of the polytechnics.
Mr Lame said a similar exercise was conducted by the National University Commission, NUC, with respect to the various bachelor’s degree programmes.
“In November 2019, the NUC accredited the Bachelor of Technology (B-TECH) courses such as Electrical Engineering, Wood Work, Metal Work, Computer Education.
“The courses were accredited in the departments of Engineering, Sciences, Environmental and Social Management Sciences,” he added.
