The Governing Council of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) has approved the appointment of Kabiru Aminu as the university’s new substantive registrar.
Similarly, Mrs Oluyede Adenike and Dr Dauda Bakum were also appointed Bursar and University Librarian respectively.
The appointees would serve for a non-renewable five-year office tenure.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ibrahim Garba who presented appointment letters to the appointees on Monday urged them to be dedicated to their assigned roles to drive the development of the institution.
“There is no shortcut to success,” Professor Garba remarked drawing attention of the appointees to the prevailing challenges and the need to overcome same to excel.
Responding on behalf of the appointees, the Registrar, Aminu, who was the immediate registrar of Federal University Kashere, vowed to work hard to actualise the mission and vision of ATBU and repose the confidence that the university governing council has in them.
