Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) has won the GovTech Public Service Award as the most innovative Federal University in the Country.
The award followed an entry initiated for Public University participation by the Bureau For Public Service in the Presidency, where ATBU ranked the best in the country.
The university’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Zailani Nappa, disclosed this in a statement made available to reporters in Bauchi on Wednesday.
He said the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Muhammad Abdul’aziz, received the award in Abuja.
“Vice-Chancellor Professor M.A. Abdulazeez described the award as fulfilling and dedicated the glory of the award to all stakeholders in the system,” the statement read in parts.
Presenting the award, Director-General of the Bureau, Dasuki Arabi, described the award as most deserving, as he chaired the Award Night and presentation dinner held at the International Conference Center, Abuja.
