“Earlier last year, I kick-started a social innovative project – Teenage Leadership Development (Teen LEAD); borne out of my desires to contribute my quota in building for ourselves a world of great value through the achievement of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
“The project is particular about contributing to the leadership development of the younger generation, who are the future of any society,
” I put this idea to action via Teen Meet-Up, Training visits to secondary schools and training in areas of the Project’s flagships, which are: You lead first, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); and Climate Change,
“Last year, the project was amongst the 10 Winning Youth-led Projects in Nigeria (the only one from the Northeast), for the EduTrust Challenge 2020, on “What Can You Do For Education”, by the Education Trust Foundation,
“Through which I was also inducted as a Global Ambassador of the Elite’s Leadership Foundation, and the bigger news Your Excellency is that I have been selected to participate at the 2021 International Student’s Festival of Harkat, which will be held from March 13th-15th, 2021”.
The student in the letter is requesting the Bauchi State government to foot his flight fares to and from Iran as well as visa fees.
Abednego in the letter explained how the support will expand the bilateral relationship between Bauchi and the Iranian government.
” Through my participation, I get the chance to present on the project, the support it has gotten, the impact thus far, the take-home for other participants, and have a crosscultural exchange between Bauchi state in particular and the Iranian government; this will also open doors for better partnerships with the Iranian government, and organizations”.
“The Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology will be providing the accommodation, in-country transports, meals, and cultural programs, throughout my stay in Iran”, he added.
