Rt. Hon. Abubakar Suleiman, Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, BAHA, has commiserated with Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed.
The Speaker in a condolence message to the Senator, his family and people of Ningi Emirate, expressed shock at the sad news of the death describing the deceased as a mother to all.
He said that late Hajiya Zainab Ahmed lived a fulfilling life filled with devotion to the Almighty Allah, nurturing and raising her children.
Hon Abubakar Sulaiman said that she distinguished herself with service to humanity, a quality of hers that enables her to touch many lives.
“Hajiya was not only mother to Senator Abdul Ningi, his brothers and sisters but to me personally and many people in Ningi because she has given us all care like her children, until her death. She was indeed the mother of all whose death is so personal to me.
“The calibre of her children who distinguished themselves in the service of the humanity through leadership and propagation of Islam speaks volumes on how virtuous, faithful and righteous she was.
“Her death is indeed painful but we should all take solace in the fact that she has lived a faithful life and bequeath the humanity of a patriot family,” the statement read in part.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannatul Firdaus.
