BAHA Speaker survives another plot

Few hours after dodging removal plot by some members of the opposition All Progressives Congress who reportedly perfected plan to scrap him as Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Y. Suleiman has evades another deadly plot—he had tested negative for coronavirus.

The Speaker announced jail breaking from the virus on one of his social media handle seen by WikkiTimes.

“My COVID-19 test result is out and Alhamdulillah it is negative”, he wrote.

WikkiTimes had exclusively reported that 20 APC lawmakers who were said to be loyal to former Governor MA Abubakar had perfected plans to remove the Speaker whom they accused of “too much loyalty to governor Bala Mohammed.”

Sources who confided in this medium also say the 20 APC lawmakers were infuriated over what they described as the Speaker’s inability ‘to ensure that the governor takes care of them (members of the assembly) by according them special privileges’.

The Speaker expressed his gratitude to God for testing negative for coronavirus.

But his Edo state Counterpart Mr Frank Okiye had tested positive of the virus.
