Bandits Abduct PDP Secretary, Family Members in Katsina

Suspected bandits on Wednesday invaded Dan Musa local council in Katsina State and kidnapped Idris Na Rahila, Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alongside his family, including his daughter, sister-in-law and her four children

Mallam Salihu Bamle, a source familiar with the incident posted this on Twitter.

“SAD NEWS: suspected bandits stormed Dan-Musa town, abducted Secretary in Dan-Musa, Katsina state; Idris Na Rahila,@OfficialPDPNig Secretary, his daughter, his brother’s wife and her 4 children,” Bamle tweeted.

Efforts to reach Bamle for more details were fruitless as he had not responded to a message sent to him at press time. 

Also, the spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, Gambo Isah was not available for comment.

Incessant terror attacks in Katsina State led to the displacement of many residents amid surging cases of kidnapping, rape and slaughtering.

WikkiTimes recalls that on November 5,  an unspecified number of worshippers were reportedly abducted by bandits while performing Ishai prayer at a mosque in Gatakawa, Kankara local council, Katsina State.
