Gunmen locally known as bandits are infiltrating Kussasun Village through the porous Galadima-Kogo axis in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, WikkiTimes can report.
The terror group after wreaking havoc on Sunday morning were confronted by operatives of the Joint Task Force (JTF). This led to the death of four terrorists.

WikkkTimes gathered that the bandits simultaneously breached the peaceful atmosphere of some villages in Shiroro, Munya and Paikoro local council in the early hours of Sunday.
In Mutum-Daya along Sarki Pawa axis, a community in Munya LGA, a source said the bandits struck around 8 am, killing three residents and kidnapping one person. “They kidnapped one person. Also, they attempted to rustle cattle,” the source said.

The attacks continued unhindered from Shiroro to Munya and then to Piakoro. Thanks to Suleiman Chukuba, the council chairman of Shiroro LGA, according to residents. “The chairman immediately called the JTF for a counter-attack mission,” a resident told this paper.
“About 10 bandits were caught alive while numbers of motorcycles were confiscated,” another source said.
Other people were unlucky as no reinforcement was carried out in some affected locations. A source told WikkiTimes that the bandits operated for hours in Dandaudu, but no one came to the residents’ rescue.
