Bauchi State Road Traffic Agency BAROTA has said that it has commenced the recruitment of unemployed youths to fill the existing gaps in the agency for effective service delivery and to reduce the rate of unemployment in the state.
The Chairman of the Agency, Rt. Air commodore Tijjani Baba Gamawa disclosed this in a press briefing in Bauchi, stating that a portal to that effect has already been opened for interested applicants.
Baba Gamawa said applicants with Senior Secondary certificate SSCE, Diploma, NCE, HND and Degree holders are illegible to apply for the positions available on the portal.
WikkiTimes learned that the agency will engage Secondary Schools Certificate [SSCE] holders as Assistant Marshals,
Diploma and NCE Holders for Marshal Inspectors while Road Marshal Officers positions are reserved for Degree and HND Holders.
BAROTA was established by the Bauchi State Government to regulate, control and manage traffic in the State.
