The Bauchi State House of Assembly (BAHA) has commiserated with minister of education, Malam Adamu Adamu over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Fatima Adamu.
A press statement issued to WikkiTimes by the spokesperson of the the Speaker, Abdul Burra said his principal, Abubakar Suleiman, who led members of the assembly to the residence of the minister in Azare on Sunday, described late Fatima as a virtuous woman who lived an exemplary life.
The speaker who noted that the death of Hajiya Fatima has created a wide gap, said that the news of her demise has shocked the members of Bauchi State House of Assembly and their constituents.
He urged the Minister, his family, Katagum Emirate and all people of Bauchi State to take solace in Allah, said, death is inevitable.
Hon. Musa Muhammad Lumo (Lere/Bula Constituency) led a special prayer for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
Responding, the Minister, Malam Adamu Adamu thanked the Speaker and his colleagues for the visit and prayed for their safe return to their various destinations.
