Bauchi State Government has provided over N500,000,000 in the 2022 appropriation bill for the renovation of Abubakar Umar State Secretariat.
The renovation project will focus on reconstruction of the roads network within the premises of the complex of the secretariat, electrification and provision of office facilities.
Alhaji Yahuza Adamu Haruna, Bauchi State Head of Service stated this shortly after depending the 2022 budget of his office at the State House of Assembly.
The Head of Service said that the State Government deemed it necessary to renovate the Secretariat to enhance service delivery and maximise results.
He noted that his office would continue to consolidate on its corporate responsibility of ensuring productivity in the state civil service.
