Bauchi Chief of Staff, Dr Gamawa Vacates Seat For Aisha

Dr Aminu Hassan Gamawa, Chief of Staff, Government House Bauchi, has on Tuesday vacated his seat for Aisha Ibrahim Zanna, an 11-year-old pupil of LYS Academy Bauchi, WikkiTimes can report.

Dr Gamawa vacated his seat for some minutes in fulfilment of his promise to honour the pupil for her outstanding performance during the Children’s Creative Workshop.

Speaking shortly after handing over the affairs of his office to her, Dr Aminu Gamawa said the development followed her “outstanding performance during the closing ceremony of the 8th Children’s Creative Station Workshop organized by the National Troupe of Nigeria.”

The Chief of Staff said during the closing ceremony, Aisha made a presentation on Unity a topic the CoS described as topical in view of Nigeria’s current woes.

Dr Gamawa described Aisha’s performance as exceptional.

He expressed confidence that vacating his seat for Aisha will motivate her to put more effort into pursuing her education and career development to enable her to become a useful member of society.

Dr Aminu Gamawa briefed her on the function of the office of the Chief of Staff, Government House Bauchi and urged her to consider the opportunity as a morale booster.

Dr Aminu Gamawa attributed the successes and the performances of Aisha to the commitment of the teachers of LYS Academy Bauchi and her parent in giving her the best education.

The management of LYS Academy Bauchi expressed gratitude to the Chief of Staff for giving Aisha the opportunity to act in that capacity, describing it as the first of its kind in the history of the office.

It will be recalled that Dr Aminu Gamawa while representing Governor Bala Mohammed at the closing ceremony of the 8th Children’s Creative Station Workshop promised to invite Aisha to sit in his office, a promise, the CoS kept.
