Bauchi Christian Pilgrims Board Demands Peaceful 2023 Polls, Rallies Support For Bala

The Executive Secretary of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board in Bauchi State, Samuel J Haruna has felicitated with the Christian community in the state for witnessing the 2022 Christmas Carol alive.

In a press statement issued to journalists on Sunday, the Executive Secretary recalled that Christmas is a confirmation of the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hon. Samuel Haruna urged Christians to embrace peace, and unity by emulating the virtues of Jesus Christ as demonstrated in his humility and service to humanity, adding that, the birth of Christ signifies the love of God to mankind, hence, the need for them to express love, kindness to one another during this period.

“This is a time for sober reflection and prayers amidst various challenges confronting us as a nation. Let’s continue to pray for the forthcoming election and vote for political parties with people’s oriented manifestos and programmes which ll translates into the lives of the church.”

Executive Secretary solicited the vote of the entire Christian community to Governor Bala Mohammed for his victory in his reelection bid come 2023 in appreciation of his administration’s massive investment in building and reconstruction of worship centres for Christians.

“Let’s vote for leaders that’ll always identify with the church, not leaders that have no business with the church. His Excellency Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has done more to the church than any other Governor in the history of Bauchi State. Therefore, the church needs to reciprocate the same gesture back to him come 2023.The church need to close her rank and vote wisely for political parties with clear and we’ll know the history of identifying with the church.”
