Bauchi Closes School After Gruesome Murder of A Baby

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has ordered the immediate closure of a school after a one-and-a-half-year-old identified as Mohammed Abidin Musa was found dead.

Reports indicate that the body of the baby was found without sensitive organs, suspected to be harvested by unknown persons. 

The governor issued the order on Wednesday during a condolence visit to the bereaved family of the deceased in Bauchi metropolis.

He called on parents to be watchful of the movements of their wards and ordered security agencies to intensify efforts to arrest the perpetrators of the act.

The Governor said that the school would remain closed to deepen the investigation, adding that his administration would collaborate with security agencies to ensure that the miscreants were brought to book.

WikkiTimes recalls that in 2021, Some yet-to-be-identified persons smashed the brain of an 11-year-old Almajiri boy around Bakin-Kura, an inner Bauchi city area. Similarly, in 2022, one Isaac Ezekiel for allegedly plucking the eyes of a 16-year-old child to perfect diabolic charm for stealing. He was arrested along with two other accomplices, Nensok Bawa and Yohana Luka.
