Bauchi First Lady partners Fidelity Bank, provides medical outreach in Misau LGA

An NGO founded by Bauchi State First Lady Hajiya Aisha Bala Muhammad, Al’Muhibbah Foundation in collaboration with Fidelity Bank Bauchi has organized two days free medical outreach in Misau local government area.

Declaring the program open at Misau LGA, the state first lady said her NGO was initially founded to address the issues of dilapidated burial grounds, but later expanded into humanitarian activities.

” Al’muhibbah Foundation is a non Governmental Organization that was known for humanitarian activities aimed at addressing  issues that has to do with education, health and other challenges faced by many, the Foundation  will do everything possible to identify and initiate programmes towards  addressing the challenges faced by women and children.”

The first Lady, who earlier thanked the management of Fidelity Bank for the good initiative that will touch the lives of many, also appreciated the support and encouragement of her husband, the state Governor Senator Bala Muhammad.

In his remarks regional manager of Fidelity Bank Dr. Musa Tarebuka represented by Branch manager of the bank Alhaji Ahmad Yahaya said the medical outreach  is targeting  about two thousand people, noting that,  “services to be offered  at the program are breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening, free malaria test, blood pressure test, diabites test.”

Other services according to him are mass deworming, free drugs, free eye glasses and school health program among others.

The regional manager said the annual program of the Bank had renovated various schools and hospitals across the state.

He thanked the first lady and the emir of Misau for their support in ensuring the success of the program.

During her working visit in the Area, the state First Lady also presented some starter pack to fifty owners of small scale business and donated medicine to General Hospital Misau.
