Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment of Abubakar Babangida, Tafidan Giade as the new Executive Secretary of Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims’ Welfare Board.
In a statement signed by the Governor’s media aide Muktar Gidado, the governor said the appointment of the new Executive Secretary is in line with the section 15(ii) of the law that established the Board.
The statement added that, the appointment of Abubakar Babangida was based on his knowledge, experience, commitment and high sense of responsibility.
The governor hoped that the appointee will continue to exhibit good attributes in the discharge of responsibilities bestowed to his office by justifying the confidence reposed in him.
Abubakar Babangida hails from Giade local government area of Bauchi State.
