Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, yesterday, interchanged the offices of two members of the executive council.
WikkiTimes learnt that two commissioners are replacing each other’s positions in their ministries.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado on Wednesday.
The former Commissioner of Lands and Survey, Yakubu Barau Ningi, was moved to the Ministry of Information and Communication, while Adamu Babayo Gabarin, the former Commissioner of Information and Communication will take charge of affairs at the former’s erstwhile office.
The statement partly read, “Hon. Yakubu Barau Ningi formerly Hon. commissioner ministry of lands and survey now moves to the ministry of information and communication.
“Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin, formerly Hon commissioner ministry of information and communication now moves to the ministry of lands and survey.”

The statement added that the redeployment of the two commissioners to their new ministries takes immediate effect.
Governor Bala congratulated the commissioners and urged them to give their best in the discharge of the responsibilities of their respective offices.
This is coming barely 3 days after the governor sworn-in six newly appointed commissioners to the state council and five special advisers.
