Bauchi state governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved the appointment of Yusuf Jibrin Gane as Auditor-General for local governments.
In a press statement issued by the Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Sabiu Baba said Yusuf Jibrin Gane before his appointment was the acting Auditor General for Local governments.
The statement added that the governor has also approved the appointmentof Dr. Sani Mohammed Dambam as executive Chairman, Bauchi State Agency for theControl of HIV/AIDS Tuberculosis/Leprosy and Malaria, (BACATMA).
Dambam was the former Head of Department, Community Medicineat the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University teaching hospital Bauchi.
The statement also disclosed the appointment of Murjanatu Musa Maidawa a senior reporter with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi as Chief Press Secretary to the first lady Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed.
