Bauchi state Governor Bala Abdulkadir has solicited thesupport of donor agencies working in the state to support his administration in
implementing socio-economic programs that will improve the welfare of thecitizens of the state.The Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed made the appealThursday during an interactive session with members of InternationalDevelopment Partners and Donor Agencies working in the state.
Speaking during the session at the Council Chamber,Government House Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed said the session was part ofhis administration’s efforts to ensure mutual working relationship betweengovernment and the Organizations.
The Governor said considering the contributions of NonGovernmental Organizations in providing social services, the need for him to seekfor their support became necessary, adding that it will help improve criticalsectors of the state’s economy.
Governor BalaMohammed said working with International Organizations would be given thedesired priority by the present administration in the state.
The Permanent Secretary of the State Budget and PlanningCommission, Alhaji Yahuza Adamu who led members of the InternationalDevelopment Partners and Donor Agencies to the visit, applauded the governorfor initiating the session.
Yahuza Adamu expressed optimism that the support sought bythe governor from the development partners would no doubt address the challengesaffecting sectors of the economy in Bauchi state.
