Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Bauchi State Governor has honored a construction firm, Bash-Dee Transport Limited for constructing two additional quality classroom projects outside the threshold of the contract awarded to him, which were awarded to the company by the state government.
The governor honoured the contractor during an official distribution of materials to BESDA learning centres, UBEC Instructional materials and the commissioning of the 2019 UBEC/SUBEB Interventions Project held at Shadawanka Primary School, Army Barrack, Bauchi.
Governor Bala Mohammed said the contractor deserved the award for constructing two additional classrooms in addition to the three awarded to him as a mark of recognition and the need to contribute positively towards the growth and development of Bauchi state.
Governor Mohammed said his administration will continue to work with Bash-Dee Transport Limited in the execution of programmes and projects especially the construction of classrooms for the educational advancement of the state.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Bauchi state, it is my honour and privilege to present this commendation letter to the Managing Director of Bash-Dee Transport Limited for the good gesture he did to us. We have seen the good work done by the contractor particularly the construction of 2 classrooms that were not part of the contract.”
“What you have done I believe President Muhammadu Buhari will be proud because you are the type of contractor that we need in our dear Bauchi state and Nigeria in general”, the governor said.
Governor Bala Mohammed assured that the state government will continue to execute and implement its developmental projects in line with Basic Engineering and Management Evaluation and called for stakeholders’ support for effective service delivery.
Alhaji Bashir Isah ,the Managing Director of Bash-Dee Transport Limited, appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for the gesture and pledged to reciprocate it by engaging in other corporate social responsibilities for the benefit of the state.
Bashir Isah said his company constructed the additional two classrooms which are not part of the contract’s schedule just to appreciate the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed for giving him the opportunity to execute some projects in the state and assured to contribute towards the success of the administration.
