Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed and his counterparts from Borno, Lagos, and Gombe States have joined President of the Dangote Foundation, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on their way to the United States of America to meet Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a round table discussion on intervention on Health Care Delivery.
In a statement through his media aide Muktar Gidado, the governor was slated to push for more intervention to support the state’s Primary Health Care address health concerns in Bauchi state.
The governor said he was determined to attract more interventions for Bauchi state especially in the aspect of health.
The statement recalled that the Bauchi State Government has already paid the sum of N200 million counter fund out of the N339 million budgeted for the 2019 State Basket Fund contribution for Primary Health Care State Immunization Policy.
Officials on the delegation include, Hon. Yunusa Ahmed Warji, member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly and Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman, State primary Health Care Development Agency.
