Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has assured the people of Ningi Emirate that his administration will fulfil the wish of the late Emir, Muhammadu Yunusa Danyaya.
The Governor was speaking when he led other important personalities to Ningi for the Three-day fida’u prayers for the repose of the soul of late traditional ruler.
Governor Mohammed extolled the virtues of the late Emir and promised that a credible person from the royal family would be installed in line with the plea and wish of the late Emir.
The Governor acknowledged the contributions of the late Emir to the state and his commitment to peace and development.
Speaking on behalf of the state traditional institutions, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu also prayed for Allah to grant eternal rest to the deceased.
The Emir of Bauchi stated that the gathering demonstrated the respect and admiration for the late Emir, who passed away on Saturday after a prolonged illness.
The prayer session was led by the Chief Imam of Bauchi Central Mosque, Imam Bala Baban Inna aimed at attracting Allah’s forgiveness on the shortcomings of the late Emir.
