Governor Umaru Ahmed Fintiri of Adamawa state on Sunday in Bauchi inaugurated the construction of two flyover bridges project of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state.
Speaking at the flagging off of the construction of the flyovers, Governor Fintiri applauded the foresight of his Bauchi counterpart for initiating the developmental project.

He noted that flyovers are not a simple project as it consumes huge amounts of money and appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for the number of projects executed so far in Bauchi.
The Adamawa state governor said prioritization of execution of projects by any government is a welcome development, and acknowledged the Bauchi Governor’s visionary leadership for the benefit of his people.
Earlier, Governor Bala Mohammed said the construction of the 2 flyover bridges was awarded at the cost of over 20.08 billion naira, saying that the project was a milestone in his urban renewal project.
Governor Bala Mohammed said the construction of the 2 flyover bridges was a first of its kind in the history of the state as part of ongoing developmental stride to enhance GDP for economic growth and development.
He said the idea of the project was informed by the increasing number of population, traffic congestion, and economic growth in the state.
