Bauchi INEC debunks rumours of alleged manipulation

Bauchi State Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission has debunked the rumors being circulated that it is planning to change the result of the Gubernatorial re-run election conducted in the state.

The State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi condemned the allegation while addressing, Party Agents, Observers, Local Government Returning Officers and the Media at the State Collation Center Bauchi.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner reassured that INEC would ensure justice to all the political parties as part of its commitment to conduct free and fair election.

Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi who said all the 15 Local Government Returning Officers have arrived the collation center to present their result, attributed the non commencement of the collation process to the non arrival of the State Returning Officer, Professor Kyari Muhammad.

According to him, the State Returning Officer Professor Kyari Muhammad is on his way to Bauchi from Yola, Adamawa State.
