The Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN Fariah Foundation School Bauchi has distributed clothing materials and other items worth about N470,000 to orphans and vulnerable children in Bauchi.
The distribution exercise is part of the drive of MSSN to cushion the effects of the economic hardship being faced in the country for the beneficiaries during this Holy month of Ramadan.
Malam Masaud Abdullahi, Grand Patron of MSSN in the school, said the items distributed were collections from public-spirited individuals who donated to the branch.
He explained that the money used in buying the items were donations from members, teachers, and parents, calling for adequate support from wealthy Muslims to enable them to accommodate more orphans and urged the beneficiaries to distance themselves from any act capable of ruining their lives.
In her remark, the mother of one of the orphans, Binta Adamu expressed gratitude to Allah for spearing their lives to witness the day and prayed to Allah to reward MSSN abundantly.
