Bauchi NMA Offers Free Medical Outreach to Orphanage Homes

The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Bauchi State Chapter has offered a free medical outreach to orphanage homes as part of activities lined up for this year’s medical week celebration. Chairman of NMA in Bauchi, Dr Muhammad Bashir Faruk said that the initiative will improve the health condition of orphans and other vulnerable children who cannot afford the decent healthcare service that they desired.

He said the NMA designed an initiative to provide a pediatric doctor to visit each of the orphanage homes weekly to offer medical consultancy services to orphans inhabiting the orphanages.
