Bauchi Poly Decries Poor Road Network

Dr Adamau Sai’du, Rector of the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi, ATAP, has appealed to Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to construct a road network within the polytechnic community for easy movement.

The Rector said the lack of access road within the polytechnic has constituted one of the major stumbling blocks of the polytechnic.

Dr Adamu stated this during the matriculation ceremony of the admitted students of the polytechnic for the 2020/2021 academic session at the polytechnic auditorium.

He said a motorable road will go a long in ensuring the safety of both staff and students of the polytechnic.

The Rector said the polytechnic is bedevilled with short of manpower supply, both academic and non-academic, urging Bauchi State authorities to wave in to save the situation from deteriorating further.

He said the polytechnic is doing all it could to see that academic time lost to COVID-19 has been made up through.

Dr Sa’idu said in view of the dearth of manpower supply to the nation’s science and technology, the polytechnic has all it takes to produce quality manpower for the sector to fill the vacuum.
